Not recommended for long-term use due to its high hemostatic effect. Patients w/ history of drug hypersensitivity; hepatic disorders. Min therapeutic necessity should be used according to disease condition. Patients w/ projectile or oozing bleeding or at risk for rapid bleeding eg, the case of presence of exposed blood vessels should undergo endoscopic hemostasis eg, heater probe or clipping. Administration of Prazotec may mask symptoms of gastric cancer. Rule out malignant nature of ulcer prior to initiation of therapy. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn. Elderly.
